Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/20/2022
Exhibiting his sheer and utter dominance as the game's greatest player by receiving the most votes for the inaugural HOF class in 1936, Ty Cobb is credited with setting 90 MLB records throughout his remarkable and historic career, with his combined total of 4,065 runs scored and runs batted in unmatched. We offer an attractive display featuring a signed cheque from the Georgia Peach. Dated Feb 8, 1952 and executed in Cobb's traditional green ink, the First National Bank of Nevada cheque has been inserted within the upper right, with a 6" x 8" modern photo over the left and detailed name plaque over the bottom right. With no issues for the signature, all three pieces have been matted, with the frame at full dimensions of approx 16" x 22". A JSA LOA will accompany.
Please note; While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for any damage to frames that occurs during shipping.
