Spanning from the 1960s to mostly late-1980s, we offer a large and comprehensive hockey glove collection of 69 pairs, highlighted by gloves used by Behn Wilson during the mid-1980s with the Chicago Black Hawks along with gloves attributed to Dennis Kassian during his time with the WHL’s Salt Lake Golden Eagles (1970-72). Models produced by Winnwell, CCM, Cooper, Sher-Wood, Spalding, Ferland, Louisville, Reebok, Jofa, Canadien, Flak and D&R are present and accounted for, with a number of pairs in either new condition (two pairs still have point-of-sale tags attached) or showing just very light use, with just a few pairs showing excessive wear and damage. Standouts include Gerry Cosby gloves in Black Hawks colours, a 1960s/70s glove pair in Black Hawks colours with Gerry Cosby labels and “10” decals, Franklin Derek Sanderson signature models, Franklin Dennis Hull signature models, GHC Rod Gilbert models, 1980s CCM gloves in North Stars colurs with handwritten notations, 1980s Sher-Wood gloves in Black Hawks colours with NHL shield logos, 1970s Winnwell gloves in California colour scheme, and pair of late-1960s/early-1970s Cooper “NHL Professional” gloves in Buffalo colours with “Sabres” graphics. The Behn Wilson gloves are D&R GP-1600 models in Hawks colours with “23” handwritten and heavy use shown, with surface wear, marks and abrasions present, along with team repairs. Three areas have been reinforced on the right glove, including along the thumb, base of the palm and the seam along the wrist guard. There is also salting to the lacing grommets on both gloves. Lastly, the Kassian Salt Lake gloves are Cooper models with “8” decals, with the pair showing heavy use, with tags attached stating the Kassian attribution. Stored in seven large boxes, please note that due to the size of the shipment, special shipping arrangement may be required, with local pick-up preferred.
