Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/20/2022
Going from NHL basement dwellers to a string of almost three consecutive decades as playoff contenders with the acquisition of the game’s greatest defenseman, the Boston Bruins were first graced with the presence of Bobby Orr in 1966-67, with the wunderkind easily earning the Calder Memorial as the top rookie. This shadowbox display features a puck team-signed by the big, bad Bruins of 1966-67 including Orr. Featuring a full colour 8” x 10” team photo above, the puck has been mounted beneath, with white-now-darkened tape applied that exhibits approx 15 signatures, with most quite small and somewhat hard to decipher, including Orr, Parent, Johnston, Watson, Oliver, Rivers, Dillabough and others. An ideal display for your Orr or Bruins shrine, the shadowbox measures 16” x 2 ½” x 16 ½”. An old PSA/DNA LOA from 2004 will accompany.
