A veteran of 15 National Hockey League seasons, Bruce Driver would spend 12 of those years in New Jersey, winning a Stanley Cup with the Devils in 1995 before closing his career with three years in New York with the Rangers. Offered here, is this New Jersey Devils jersey worn by Driver during the 1990-91 season. Made by CCM, a Maska Ultrafil label showing a faint handwritten “54” size designation is affixed to the inner collar while logos of CCM and the NHL shield have been embroidered into the reverse hem along with team customizer, Custom Crafted, which is embossed on the other side. The front of the jersey is styled with the Devils team crest in layered tackle-twill while Driver’s number “23” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in white-over-green tackle twill with “Driver” in identical style letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting good game-wear, the lower front is riddled with dark stick marks, as are both sleeves and the reverse, with the sleeves also showing a couple board burns each. A handful of small liquid stains are seen throughout the jersey, and a small hole is present near the left shoulder on the reverse. The interior of the jersey sports pilling at the elbows, lower reverse hem and fight strap, which also shows evidence of numerous washings. A MeiGray COR for the jersey is included as is a Devils LOA.
