Disney put their stamp on the National Hockey League for the start of the 1993-94 season with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. This jersey was worn by Randy Ladouceur during the franchise’s inaugural campaign. Made by CCM and featuring size “56” tagging in the inner collar, the front features the Ducks crest and the alternate captain’s “A” over the left breast while the sleeves and verso of the jersey feature Ladouceur’s number “29” in stacked tackle twill. The left shoulder features the FGW "mouse ears" patch that was sewn onto the jersey for the team's final three road games after Disney president Frank Wells died in a helicopter crash late in the season. “Ladouceur” is spelt out across the back on a matching nameplate. Game wear on the jersey is lighter, but noticeable, with stick marks on the sleeves and front of the jersey and stains located on the front crest and sleeves. The fight strap shows numerous washing with pilling in its area as well. The interior has sewn-in team tagging designating the jersey as an “Inaugural Season Set 2” offering. A LOA from the Ducks and a MeiGray COR will accompany the piece.
