A journeyman goaltender that was no stranger to playing in gear that didn’t match his current teams colours, Alex Auld compiled a total of 91 wins in 237 NHL games played with eight different franchises. Presented here is the home jersey that Alex would wear during his short nine game stint with the Phoenix Coyotes at the beginning of the 2007-08 National Hockey League season. Made by Reebok and featuring interior collar labeling displaying the goalie style jerseys size as “60”, the front and back necklines of this marron offering showcase the NHL shield and Reebok logos respectively. Styled with the Coyotes howling coyote head crest on the front, it is accompanied by a left shoulder patch of the state of Arizona. The sleeves and verso of the jersey feature Auld’s number “35” in single layer white tackle twill with “Auld” being sewn directly on to the back of the jersey. The interior features team tagging from the Coyotes “Official 2007/08-1 Game Worn Jersey”. Game wear on this jersey is fairly heavy considering it was worn in just five games total with a good amount of puck marks found on the front and the sleeves as well as a small unrepaired hole at the edge of front crest near the bottom. Additionally, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #77911531 to a puck mark found on the bottom sleeve strip on the right sleeve. A letter of authenticity from the Coyotes will accompany the jersey as it makes its way to its new home in your collection.
