The 239th overall pick of the Atlanta Thrashers at the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Tobias Enstrom would defy odds and become a fixture in Atlanta for four seasons starting in 2007-08 before moving with the franchise to Winnipeg and becoming a Jet. What we have here is Enstrom’s 2009-10 Atlanta Thrashers game-worn jersey. Made by Reebok and featuring a size “54” fly tag on the interior collar, the jersey features the NHL shield and Reebok logos on the front and back necklines respectively. The front of the jersey is styled with the Thrashers colorful shield crest, an homage to the state bird of Georgia while the secondary logo patches are found on each shoulder. The sleeves and verso of the jersey showcase Enstrom’s number “39” with his name having been spread across a matching affixed nameplate. The interior of the jersey shows a MeiGray tag present with the serial number “G08410” which when cross referenced with the population report shows that the jersey is “White Set 1” example. Game wear on the piece is moderate with a good amount of puck marks found throughout as well as a plethora of board burns and unrepaired holes present on each sleeve as well. Additionally, the jersey has been photo-matched to Getty Images #92959126 and #94123712 to a puck mark found on the left elbow area and to the flaw and loose thread found on the upper edge of the Thrashers front crest. A matching team/MeiGray LOA will accompany the jersey as it finds its way into your collection in the near future.
