A special occasion to be a part of and making players a little more wide-eyed than usual would be the Hockey Hall of Fame game hosted annually by the Toronto Maple Leafs. Even more significant for those that are the visiting team, such was the case for Alex Auld and the Ottawa Senators on November 12th, 2011 during which this jersey was worn throughout the game by Sens goalie Alex Auld. Featuring interior collar flag tagging with the size designation of “58+”, this “goalie style” tarp features the Reebok and NHL shield logos on the front and back necklines respectively. The front of the jersey, features a magnitude of patches and crests with the most prominent of them being the Senators team crest in the direct middle and being flanked on either side by the patches of the 2012 NHL All-Star Game that was hosted by the Senators on the right with the Hall of Fame Game patch on the left. The sleeves and verso of the jersey showcase Auld’s number “35” in dual layer stacked twill with “Auld” spelt out in black twill across an affixed matching nameplate. The interior of the jersey features teams labeling designating the jersey as being from the November Hall of Fame spectacle. Having been the backup goalie for the Senators that night, the jersey features very light wear in the form of a single puck mark found on the left shoulder. Nevertheless, a special jersey from a special night that is ready to find its home in your collection.
