Ideal for a dramatic and tactile display, this lot offer five individual vintage skates each signed by a pair of famous members of the Montreal Canadiens, along with a pair of vintage gloves signed by the one and only Jean Beliveau. Included, we have a circa 1930s/40s Daoust skate signed by Dickie Moore on one side, and Bob Fillion on the other, with both signatures in matching silver, listing their cup wins (light wear, with minor rusting to the blade), a 1980s “Mustang” model skate signed by Maurice Richard on one side, and Jean Beliveau on the other, with both signatures in matching silver (moderate wear to the skate), a 1960s CCM Prolite Professional model skate signed by Phil Goyette on one side, and JG Talbot on the other, with both signatures in matching silver (moderate wear to the skate), a high-grade unused CCM skate from the 1970s signed on one side by Guy Lapointe, and on the other side by Serge Savard, with both signatures quite faded, and lastly, a 1970s Bauer “NHL Approved” skate signed by Andre Pronovost on one side, and Gilles Tremblay on the other, with both signatures in matching silver (light wear to the skate, heavier wear to the blade). The gloves are 1960s generic models in blue and white with gold accents, with Canadiens logos to each, with each glove signed by Beliveau in blue ink, with his cup totals added (the pair show moderate wear, with the cuffs stiff).
