Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
Just the third Montreal Canadien in history after legends Howie Morenz and Maurice Richard to be so honoured, the Habs retired Jean Beliveau’s iconic “4” in 1971, and we offer a signed and framed number display, along with a second signed and framed photo display. The number display features a colour 8” x 10” image within the upper right, with Jean’s “4” in Habs colours placed over the left. A name plaque has been inserted beneath the photo, with Beliveau adding a flawless blue sharpie signature to the bottom left, framed to 17” x 21”. The second display features a centered 8” x 10” black and white image with pin above and name plaque below, with Beliveau signing in blue sharpie, adding his induction year. Double-matted and framed to 17 ½” x 21 ½”, a hologram has been affixed to the photo. A Classic Auctions LOA will accompany.
