Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022

Hailing from one of the most successful clubs in Russia, being Moscow Dynamo, Alexander Khavanov would be drafted by the St. Louis Blues 232nd overall in the 1999 National Hockey League Entry Draft and would play four seasons with the team starting in 2000 before a one-year stint in Toronto closed out his NHL career after the 2005-06 season. Presented here is a jersey worn by Khavanov during the 1998-99 season while playing with the Moscow Dynamo. This white example made by Russian company Lutch, features everything fully sublimated including team logos, the affixed sponsorship patches found on the chest and sleeves of the jersey and numbers. Additionally, the matching nameplate affixed to the back featuring Khavanov across it is also sublimated. The jersey, tagged as a size 54 with flag tag still present at the interior collar, exhibits remarkable game wear throughout with puck and stick marks riddled throughout as well as having the sleeves filled with burns and unrepaired holes. A certificate of authenticity from Lutch International will accompany the piece. Overall a great unique piece with great eye appeal that would make a healthy addition to your collection!
