The greatest golfer that the country of Canada has ever had come out of it, Mike Weir spent over 110 weeks in the Top-10 of the Official World Golf Rankings between 2001 and 2005. Weir would do what no Canadian had done before in 2003 when he won the 2003 Masters Tournament and earned himself the coveted green jacket. Offered here is this beautiful shadow box display commemorating Weir’s 2003 Masters Championship that has been signed by the man himself. Fully contained in a cherry wood frame with only minor wear present, the main piece is an 8” x 10” photograph of the Masters Champion on the golf course that has been signed in bold black ink. The signature displays beautifully and only adds to the overall eye appeal of the piece. Triple matted throughout with the main colour being that of a deep green, a Titleist golf ball is housed in the upper right-hand corner of the piece in a way that makes it appear as if it has been putted into place. A gold plaque pulls the piece together, having been placed underneath the ball and displaying information pertaining to Weir’s win. The back of the frame, it should be mentioned, features some liquid staining as well as a label from Frameworth. A COA from Weir Golf Authentics will accompany the piece. An excellent piece that will become a major winner in your collection.
