When it comes to thinking of the best defensemen to ever lace up their skates and play within the arenas of the National Hockey League, Nicklas Lidstrom is certainly a name that comes to mind almost instantly. Patrolling the Red Wings blue line for a total 20 seasons, the rugged blueliner would be a key piece in 4 Stanley Cup Championships for the Red Wings over the course of his career that would also see him win seven Norris Trophy’s as the league’s best defenseman. Hailing from the 2007-08 season, presented here is an Easton Synergy model stick used by Lidstrom. Factory graphics reading “5 Lidstrom” are on the middle shaft area of the silver twig with Lidstrom’s familiar taping styles being found on both the blade, in black, and on the knob, in white. The backside of the stick near the lower end of the shaft still features the Easton factory serial code sticker attached reading “60G214”. Game wear on the stick is moderate with used exhibited in the form of puck marks, scrapes, chips, and nicks throughout the stick giving it some character to go along with its excellent eye appeal. Additionally, the stick has been photo-matched to the 2008 NHL All-Star Game in Atlanta, Georgia. Getty Images #79283522 and #7984253 are photo-matched to the black streak running up the length of the shaft between “Easton” and “Synergy” as well as a puck mark/chip on the backside of the blade.
