Commonly referred to as the greatest goaltender in the history of hockey, Martin Brodeur sure does have the resume to back it up. Besides the three Stanley Cups and four Vezina Trophies, Brodeur stands alone on top of the NHL all-time wins list with a staggering total of 691 in 1266 games played. Presented here is a stick used by Brodeur during the 2006-07 National Hockey League season while playing with the New Jersey Devils. The RBK X-Pulse X10 model of stick was used by Brodeur during the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons. This example, featuring original tape job of black on the blade and white to make up the knob, has been stamped with “M. Brodeur” on the upper shaft. The back side of the stick near the hand grip has a factory serial number sticker still attached as well has the date stamp of “Jan 12, 2007”. Game wear on the stick is fairly light with most of it being contained to the blade tape and paddle in the form of puck marks with the shaft of the stick only showing a couple on either side. Fully intact with no breaks or cracks, the stick has been photo-matched to the 2007 NHL All-Star Game in Dallas, Texas. Getty Image #980270099 shows Brodeur making a save with the stick present in his hand and is matched to a black mark above the “B” in RBK on the paddle, a black mark on the upper edge above the “K” and a black mark on the edge under the Reebok/RBK logo. An incredible offering that would make a strong addition to your collection!
