Playing his college hockey with Colgate, Bruce Gardiner was drafted by St Louis in 1991 but made his NHL debut for the Ottawa Senators, in 1996-97. From his final NHL season with New Jersey, where he saw action in only seven regular-season games, we have a Devils jersey worn by the Barrie native in 2001-02. A sewn-down label and size “56” fly tag is affixed to the collar, with NHL and KOHO crests over the bottom hem and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with a large Devils team crest in layered tackle twill, “9” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material. Exhibiting moderate game-use with a few stick and puck marks over front and sleeves, there are also faint burns visible. The “Set 2” team patch is screened over the inside hem, with an LOA to accompany from the Devils.
