Selected to the NHL All-Rookie Team after his breakout campaign for the New York Islanders in 2009-10 which included scoring 54 points, John Tavares improved his numbers during his sophomore season, netting 67 points in 79 games. We offer a photo-matched Islanders jersey worn by the superstar during his second NHL season in 2010-11. A label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the classic Long Island team crest, “91” in layered twill is sewn to the sleeves and verso, with “Tavares” across the nameplate in matching material. The sleeves have also been customized, with the circumference shortened. Exhibiting marks to the sleeves and reverse along with a few faint burns, there is also pilling to the interior, with a single team repair situated over the lower right sleeve along with a small cluster of repairs over the left sleeve. Getty Image #109775441 (March 2, 2011 vs Minnesota) has been matched to the stick mark across the right elbow, while Getty Image #109704120 (Feb 19, 2011 vs LA – Tavares had 2 assists in the game) has been matched to the stick mark across the right elbow as well as the burn line over the right shoulder. Lastly, Getty Image #110968681 (March 26, 2011 vs Philadelphia) has been matched to the stick mark across the right elbow.
