Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022

Mostly crease-free vintage cardboard is to tell you about here, with much of it displaying upper mid-grade and high grade characteristics, with however some condition issues also involved. Close to half of the cards have a small stain; lower left edge (and sometimes lower right) on cards with a vertical orientation and top and/or bottom edges (near the left corners) on horizontal cards. One can see an example in the border just above the number of 30-Gordie Howe (otherwise EX-MT), with a more subtle and smaller stain in the opposite border. The other key Howe card (#31) is without stains and EX-MT. Also stainless and either EX+ or EX-MT are keys 4-Mahovlich, 15-Keon and 49-Plante, while similar but with a stain are 7-Horton and 38-Richard (very subtle). Amid the rest expect mostly EX+, EX-MT and NM examples, along with "otherwise" similar cards, if you follow. Condition exceptions are 39-Beliveau (multiple small corner creases) and 23-MacGregor RC (VG), with six exhibiting evidence (quarter-size-or-bigger stain) of once having been pasted, although no paper loss and legible backs are to report; #s 5-Kelly, 8, 12, 50, 51 and 52. Notable rookie cards are 46-G. Tremblay (EX+), 47-Rousseau (EX+ (ST)) and 54-J.C. Tremblay (VG-EX+). Completing are an unmarked Tally Card (VG+) and a Zip Contest Entry Card (EX-MT).
