The Vancouver Canucks pulled off a coup when GM Brian Burke traded up to acquire the second overall pick in the 1999 NHL draft. The Canucks were able to select Daniel Sedin followed by his identical twin brother Henrik with the No. 3 pick they already held! Daniel Sedin’s 2000-01 Canucks Jofa ASD game-used stick is from his rookie season. Daniel recorded 34 points in his NHL debut on his way to 1,041 points in 17 seasons with Vancouver. “Sedin Daniel” is stamped on the shaft below his original white tape job on the shaved knob, with the white blade tape also intact. Heavy use is shown with wear to the taped section of blade including the underside, with additional wear over the handle and marks throughout the length of the shaft.
