Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022

A favorite of the fans at Boston Garden while forging part of his Hall of Fame career, Gerry Cheevers is featured here, his important 1965-66 Topps rookie card off-centered and graded 3 VG by ACA, a Canadian company based in Montreal. The same firm inspected Gerry’s 1969-70 O-Pee-Chee (4 VGEX) and ’70-71 Topps (3.5 VG+) issues, while KSA is responsible for encapsulating a nice ’68-69 OPC (8 NMM) and a ’73-74 Quaker Cereal WHA card (8.5 NMM+). The (raw) rest include ’67-68 Topps (VG) and ’71-72 OPC (VG) Bruins cards, a couple showing “Cheesie” in his Cleveland Crusaders uniform (NM, EX+) and then five OPCs from his second go-round with Boston. One modern card completes, with the holders of the graded cards well cared for and only a couple of light scratches (’68-69 OPC) observed. One of hockey’s great playoff goalies is worthy of consideration.
