Featuring strong performances throughout the season from Doug Weight and Curtis Joseph, the Edmonton Oilers advanced to the 1996-97 NHL Stanley Cup playoffs. Defeating Dallas in seven games, the Oilers would make a second-round exit after losing to Colorado in five. Originating from the inner sanctum of the famed Northlands Coliseum, this official framed 1996-97 Edmonton Oilers team photo was once proudly displayed in the Edmonton Oilers dressing room, and can now be added to the your personal collection. A 14" x 20" print of the full squad in the traditional on-ice pose has been matted, with "Edmonton Oilers 1996-97" handwritten along the base of the matte, with the players and management all listed. Framed to full dimensions of approx 20" x 25 1/2", there is just a bit of light wear to the frame and a few minor surface scratches to the photo. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
