The Carolina Hurricanes’ franchise leader for consecutive games (349), career post-season points (43) and the most hat tricks in a single season (4), Eric Staal made his NHL debut for the club after being selected second overall behind Marc-Andre Fleury in 2003. The Thunder Bay native also captained the Hurricanes for seven seasons (2009-10 to 2015-16). This stick was used by Staal during the 2009-10 NHL season, where he netted a point-a-game throughout his 70 contests. A Bauer Supreme ONE95 model with “E Staal” factory graphics, the original white tape is in place over the blade and handle, with “12” handwritten to the handle. Sporting nice game-use with marks to both sides of the taped section of blade, there are also marks and surface abrasions to the lower shaft. Staal placed a silver paint pen signature over the front side heel, and it displays well.
