A member of Detroit's famed Russian Five, Igor Larinov spent his early career with CSKA Moscow before making his NHL debut in 1989-90 with Vancouver, and skated for five different clubs throughout his Hall of Fame career. From his time with the Florida Panthers and Detroit Red Wings in the late-1990s/early-2000s, we have a signed stick used by the Professor. An Itech Busch Balance model with “Larionov” factory graphics, the original black blade tape and black cloth-over-red handle wrap are intact. Heavier game-use is exhibited, with marks and surface abrasions to the lower shaft which includes wear to the Busch logo as well as a large crack, there is also additional wear and tears to the taped section of blade. Larionov has added a presumably silver ink signature over the heel that has faded considerably.
