Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
Still serving as the all-time goals, assists and points leader for the world’s most famous and successful hockey team despite last wearing the jersey of the Montreal Canadiens almost four decades ago, Guy Lafleur remains the club’s perennial superstar, and we offer signed items from his post career. Obtained directly from our consignor as he was involved with oldtimers games, we have a signed Sher-Wood stick used by Lafleur, a multi-signed Sher-Wood stick, a signed Lafleur oldtimers jersey, home and away signed Habs jerseys, a signed Journal de Montreal poster, a pair of signed 8” x 10” photos and more. First, the signed and used stick sports the original tape jobs, with Lafleur signing near the heel in black marker. The multi-signed Sher-Wood stick is signed by Lafleur, along with 10 others in black marker. The oldtimers jersey has been signed on the team crest in blue marker, while the Habs jerseys are CCM models with tackle twill team crest and numbers, with Lafleur signing each on the team crest. Rounding out the lot, the signed 8” x 10” photos include Guy posed with the Stanley Cup (signed in silver), and Lafleur with fellow Team Canada members Wayne Gretzky and Mike Bossy (signed in black marker).
