With impressive white borders and vivid colors is a PSA NM 7 #1 card of Tim Horton that starts off in terrific fashion this attractive set of 1961-62 Parkies, with a similar NM 7 card of Jacques Plante also a highlight. Higher are the three other PSA-encapsulated contributors, with 23-Goegan, 29-Pronovost and 34-McKenzie attaining NM-MT 8 recognition. We barely detect a crease among the raw representatives, with however a small light crease near the top right corner of the Dave Keon rookie card sending it to VG+, despite some superior characteristics. Amid the rest, we spot some EX entries (20-Howe) but would say EX+ and EX-MT combine for the majority, with NM-or-better examples also involved. Other superstars 31-Sawchuk and 45-Beliveau are EX+, with #2-Mahovlich comparatively weak and a condition exception at VG. A small light corner crease affects 3-Bower, while 9-Kelly (ST) is the only card exhibiting obvious evidence of a coin rubbed across the punch line on the back. A few wax stains on the back (43-Richard) and mostly similar toning are also observed. Sure to be appreciated bonuses are duplicates of 1-Horton and Plante (both VG+), along with #s 23-Goegan, 29-Pronovost, 33-Labine, 34-McKenzie, 40-Marshall (2) and 51-Pronovost, while an extra graded card of 34-McKenzie is like its counterpart; NM-MT 8. A few possibilities come to mind with this appealing assembly. There are no notable condition issues regarding the PSA holders.
