Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
An NHL First All-Star Team member each and every season throughout his unmatched career beginning in 1968, Bobby Orr was selected to the NHL Second All-Star Team as a rookie. The 1972 All-Star Game held on Jan 25th in Bloomington was especially noteworthy for Orr, with the superstar assisting on the winning goal scored by Phil Esposito, with this the only time in his Hall of Fame career that he was named All-Star Game MVP. This ticket stub hails from the historic contest, and is graded VG 3 (MK) by PSA. Sporting an NHL shield logo with “1972” and “All Star Game”, the date and venue are listed along with an image of the Met, with faded handwriting to the ticket that is completely worn away, with just the indentation visible when held at an angle. Sporting otherwise light wear, the stub is ideal for any advanced Bobby Orr or All-Star Game collection.
