Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022

Trading single goals throughout each period, the Colorado Avalanche would take Game 1 of the 2000-01 Western Conference Semifinals vs Los Angeles to overtime, with the Kings taking the game and the Aves the series. This signed stick was used by superstar Ray Bourque and is attributed to Game 1 of the 2000-01 Western Conference Semifinals. A Sher-Wood PMPX 9950 model, “Bourque 77” factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with “Handcrafted Exclusively for Raymond Bourque” on the underside. The stick retains the original white tape over the shaved handle/knob and black over the blade, with “5” handwritten on the knob, with this thought to signify the 5th playoff game of 2001 (two dots have also been added to signify the second stick used in the game). Bourque has signed over the heel in silver, and the signature displays well. The stick exhibits light use, with wear to the taped section of blade including the underside, with some light additional wear to the shaft. A signed LOA from Ray Bourque will accompany.
