Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
Splitting his lengthy NHL career between Montreal and Philadelphia, Eric Desjardins saw action in three All-Star Games and hoisted Lord Stanley’s famous trophy in 1993. The Rouyn native also represented Canada internationally, and we offer a stick used by Desjardins during the early-1990s while with the Habs, accompanied by a trio of Canadiens pucks signed by the “Big Three” defensive core of Serge Savard, Larry Robinson and Guy Lapointe. A Chimo GLM 999 model with “Desjardins” and “28” stamped to the upper shaft, the original tape is in place over the blade and handle, with heavy game-use shown including wear to the taped section of blade and numerous marks throughout the shaft. The pucks all sport Habs logos, with each signed over the logo in silver, with Lapointe and Savard adding their induction years. COAs will also accompany the stick and Savard and Lapointe pucks, along with a plastic display case for all three pucks.
