A Stanley Cup champion four times throughout the 1960s, Frank Mahovlich played in each and every NHL All-Star contest from 1959 until and including 1974, missing just 1966. We have a trio of items signed by the 1981 HOF inductee, with a Leafs jersey and two framed displays, one from his time in Toronto, the other, while with Montreal. First, the vintage-style jersey was produced by Nike, with “XL” sizing and tackle twill crest and numbers, with Mahovlich adding a flawless white paint pen signature to the reverse “7”. The Leafs display features a limited-edition “The Big M” print by Daniel Parry. At 12” x 23”, Mahovlich is wonderfully depicted, signing in silver along with the artist, with the limited-edition number of “106/1927” handwritten. Double-matted, the print is framed to just over 16” x 27”. The Habs display features a mounted 8” x 10” photo and signed tackle twill “7”, with Mahovlich signing in thin white ink, with a plaque inserted and each piece wonderfully matted, framed to full dimensions of approx 18” x 20”. Each display has a COA affixed to the reverse.
