Topps hit a home run, (a grand slam in the eyes of many hobbyists), with its landmark 1957 baseball card issue, the real photographs a big change from the artwork of the previous two seasons. Consistently hitting home runs is what Henry Aaron is best known for, with Hammerin' Hank also hitting for average, his .328 mark in '56 making him the defending National League batting champ when cards like this were discovered in Topps packs. And what a year it was for Aaron and the Milwaukee Braves; Hank hit at a .322 clip while leading the league in homers (44) and RBIs (132), smacked a pennant-clinching walk-off home run and contributed to the Braves' World Series victory over the Yankees! Featuring a reverse-negative image of the legend, this example of card #20 garnered an inviting mark of NM 7 numerous years ago at PSA. Check it out and let us know if this Hank is good for you and your Aaron/'57 Topps collection. A few light scratches/scuffs to the front of the PSA holder are not obvious/unsightly in our eyes.
