Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
A three-time NHL All-Star in just five seasons, Steve Duchesne saw action in over 1,100 contests throughout his career while playing for six different clubs, and won a Stanley Cup championship with the boys from Motor City in 2002. From his first of three seasons in Detroit, we have a stick used by the Quebec native in 1999-00. A KOHO Abs Cap model with inserted Christian wooden blade, “Duchesne” is stamped to the upper shaft, with the original black tape over the blade and white over the handle. There is also a Hockeytown hologram added to the lower shaft. The stick exhibits light to moderate game-use with wear to the taped section of blade including the underside, with some additional wear and residue over the top and bottom sides of the shaft.
