A member of the US National Team Development Program before spending three years at the University of Maine, Jimmy Howard made his NHL debut for Detroit in 2005-06, and has represented his nation internationally at both the World Championships and Winter Olympics. From the 2013-14 NHL season, we have a photo-matched Red Wings jersey worn by the star netminder. “Goalie Style” labeling along with a size “58” label is affixed to the collar (there is also a team store price tag still attached), with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with Detroit’s famous winged-wheel team crest, the red V-neck sweater has been accented with “35” sewn to the sleeves and verso in single twill, with the Nicklas Lidstrom retirement patch over the right breast. Exhibiting good game-use with wear to the material visible including material pulls, marks and pilling along the collar, there are also team repairs, with examples situated over the front (4) and sleeves (3). Getty Image #466767795 (February 3, 2014) has been matched to the team repairs near the team crest and to the series of black marks on the lower front hem in the white panel, while Getty Image #477034517 (March 6, 2014) has been matched to the washed-out black marks in the white band of the right sleeve, and to the team repairs on the front of the jersey. Lastly, Getty Image #477041083 (March 6, 2014) has been matched to the washed-out black marks in the white band on the right sleeve.
