Attending Michigan State University for four years and starring for the Spartans, Jim Slater was drafted by Atlanta and made his NHL debut in 2005-06, where he skated in 71 contests scoring 10 points. This Thrashers jersey was worn by the Michigan native during his rookie campaign of 2005-06. A label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests over the bottom hem and back neckline respectively. Styled with a large and attractive multi-coloured Thrashers team crest, “32” is sewn to the right sleeve and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Atlanta” running down the left sleeve in matching material. Sporting a small rip to the front collar, there is also a pair of small holes over the left elbow, with a team repair just above the front band and pilling beneath. A patch from MeiGray numbered “C00851” resides on the inside hem, and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “Third Set 2” specimen.
