Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
A Montreal Canadiens draft choice in 2003, Quebec-born Jimmy Bonneau spent the majority of his career in the AHL with Rochester and Worcester, with additional time spent in the ECHL, including with Cincinnati and Rapid City. From his lone season with Rochester, we have a signed Americans “Hockey Fights Cancer” jersey issued to the Baie-Comeau native in 2009-10. A Reebok label and “56” CCM size tag are affixed to the collar, with Reebok and AHL crests over the reverse hem. Featuring a sublimated team crest, “27” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in single twill, with Bonneau signing the fight strap. It should be noted that as we were unable to find images of the game the jersey originates from, and when factoring the lack of any discernible game wear/marks, the jersey is being sold as game-issued.
