Gaining experience in his native Russia prior to being drafted by Anaheim in 2000, netminder Ilya Bryzgalov made his NHL debut with a single game in 2001-02, followed by a single game in 2003-04 before his inaugural season in 2005-06 where he backstopped the club in 31 regular-season matches along with 11 playoff contests. This Ducks jersey worn by Bryzgalov during his rookie campaign in 2005-06 has been photo-matched to the second and third rounds of the Stanley Cup playoffs. “Goalie Style” labeling is affixed to the collar with a size “58” fly tag, with Reebok and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hems respectively. Styled with an embossed Ducks team crest, “30” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with alternate crests over each shoulder. Sporting puck marks over the front and sleeves, there is also a pair of team repairs beneath the team crest. Getty Image #71025751 (Game 3 Western Conference Finals vs Edmonton) has been matched to the semi-circular mark over the mid-left front, with the shape and placement identical, while Getty Image #71034979 (Game 4 Western Conference Semifinals vs Colorado) has been matched to the small mark over the upper left of the “0” of “30” over the left sleeve. A patch from MeiGray numbered “C00262” resides on the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a “White Set 3 / Playoffs” specimen.
