A veteran of 14 NHL seasons, shared amongst eight different clubs, Doug Crossman was drafted by Chicago in 1979, and retired after parts of three seasons in the IHL and AHL during the mid-1990s. This Los Angeles Kings jersey was worn by Crossman during his lone campaign with the team, in 1988-89. A faded Maska Ultrafil label remains affixed to the collar, with the jersey measuring-out to roughly a size 52. Styled with the classic 1st season modern Kings’ team crest, the vintage white V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Crossman” across the affixed nameplate in matching material. There is also a CCM crest over the reverse hem, with the fight strap cut away and removed. Exhibiting light game-use with a few marks and scrapes to the material visible and pilling to the interior, there is the former outline of what is most likely a velcro patch that was affixed over the left breast, with the “A” mounted when Crossman was likely serving as an alternate at some point during the season.
