Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/1/2022
Captaining the powerful Russian men's national team at the Winter Olympics in 2014 and 2018, Pavel Datsyuk earned considerable hardware throughout his NHL tenure including the Frank J. Selke Trophy three times, the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy four-consecutive times, and the Stanley Cup twice. The Magic Man possessed arguably the best hands in the game, with his combined stickhandling ability and scoring prowess the envy of all competitors. This signed stick was used by Datsyuk during his career, and is accompanied by a signed photo of Datsyuk posing with this stick and an unknown individual. A Franklin 295G Pro model with the original black tape to the blade and white beehive over the handle, “13” is handwritten to the upper shaft, with a partially detached team store price tag with “Datsyuk Used Stick” on the upper shaft. Moderate game-use is shown, with Datsyuk signing the blade in silver. There is also a Hockeytown hologram affixed. The photo is 8” x 10” and is signed in blue marker.
