This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
Earning his nickname of "Big Chief Shoot the Puck" – later shortened to “Chief” - while at the Stoney Reserve in Alberta, George Armstrong spent his entire HOF career with the blue and white, winning four Stanley Cup championships throughout the 1960s, along with captaining the Leafs for a dozen seasons. This framed Toronto Maple Leafs jersey has been signed by the seven-time All-Star. A CCM model mounted with the reverse showing including Armstrong’s “10” in tackle twill, a signed game-action photo is mounted beneath along with a plaque, with the jersey signed within the “1” in black marker. Attractively matted and framed to full dimensions of 34” x 42”, a Leafs stick has been attached to the glass, with a PSA/DNA sticker numbered "S23892" affixed for the jersey signature. Please note that due to the size and/or weight, special shipping arrangements may be required.
