A member of the prestigious Triple Gold Club, Henrik Zetterberg spent his entire career in Motor City with the Red Wings, earning the Conn Smythe Trophy while helping Detroit win the Stanley Cup, in 2008. The superstar Swede would also represent his nation throughout his career, winning gold at both the World Championships and Winter Olympics. This lot contains signed skates worn by the star in the early-to-mid-2000s, two signed jerseys, signed 2014 Winter Classic plastic coffee cup and puck, and five additional signed items, including a pair of 8” x 10” photos. First, the skates are Easton Z-Air Comp models with Easton Razor Blade II blade holders, with “Zetterberg 9-10” decals added to each underside boot, with each skate signed in black marker on the inside portion of each blade holder. The skates show light to moderate use with game-wear present, with a Hockeytown hologram affixed to the left skate. There is also tape residue to the blade on the right skate. The jerseys include a Red Wings home model by KOHO along with a 2014 Winter Classic Red Wings jersey by Reebok, with each signed by Zetterberg on the reverse “4”. The 2014 Winter Classic cup and puck have both been signed in marker, with the remaining items to include a signed 2013-14 Red Wings program with Zetterberg cover, two signed 8” x 10” photos, a signed 2009-10 The Hockey News Yearbook with Zetterberg cover, and a signed 2008-09 SP Winning Materials memorabilia card.
