Spending his first eight NHL seasons with the Detroit Red Wings; the club that drafted the left winger as the final selection in the fourth round of the 2008 Entry Draft, Gustav Nyquist then appeared in 19 games for San Jose before signing with Columbus in 2019-20. This signed Red Wings helmet was worn by Nyquist in the early-to-mid-2010s, with this specific type of model seeing use from his rookie season in 2011-12, until and including the 2013-14 season. A CCM model is solid red worn for home games with intact strapping, visor and interior harness, Red Wings decals grace each side, with “14” over the forehead and lower reverse, with an NHL decal on the lower right reverse. Sporting nice game-use with a number of marks and scratches, Nyquist has signed over the top section in black marker. As an added bonus, a signed 2014 Red Wings Winter Classic replica jersey is also included, with the Reebok model with “XL” sizing and felt team crest signed on the reverse “4” in blue marker, with some minor bleeding occurring to the signature. A Red Wings COA will accompany for the helmet, along with a second COA for the signed jersey.
