The first European-born player named NHL Playoff MVP, Nicklas Lidstrom spent his entire HOF career in Motor City, scoring over 1,100 points in 1,564 contests. From his final NHL season in 2011-12, we have the signed puck used by Lidstrom to score the Red Wings first goal in the 3-2 victory over the St Louis Blues, on Dec 27, 2011. Netted on the power play at 18:57 of the second and assisted by Datsyuk and White, the Sher-Wood Official Red Wings NHL game puck has white stick tape affixed to the reverse, with “Detroit St Louis”, “December 27 2011”, “Detroit goal scored by 5 N Lidstrom”, “Assist 13 P Datsyuk, 18 I White” and “18:57 2nd PPG” handwritten. The obverse sports a silver paint pen signature over the Red Wings logo, with the puck showing game-use. A COA for the signature from the Red Wings will accompany.
