A member of the famous Trail Smoke Eaters, gold medal winners at the 1961 IIHF World Championships, Michel Lagace was also with Team Canada for their next gold medal victory, in 1994, thirty-three years later! Canada would go undefeated at the 1994 World Championships, and beat Finland in a shootout to claim gold. From the 1994 IIHF World Championships, we have the Team Canada 10K gold ring that was presented to Lagace. Size 12 with an approx weight of 30 grams, a hockey Canada logo sits raised over the tableau, encompassed by “Champion” and “Mondiaux” in slanted letters, with a single zirconia placed at each side. The right shank sports “Lagace”, with a globe and maple leaf beneath, while the left has “Italie” and “1994”. The inner band has "Intergold 10K" stamped. Heavy wear is present from use, with numerous scratches and small dings visible, with no obtrusive issues or damage. Originating from his personal collection, an LOA from the Michel Lagace family will accompany.
