This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
A gold medal winner with Team Canada – first as a player with the Trail Smoke Eaters at the 1961 IIHF World Championships, and later, as a staff member at the 1994 tournament thirty-three years later, we have a Trail Smoke Eaters winter coat worn by Michel Lagace at the 1961 World Championships. A thick wool affair in Canadian red with black accents, the original Hudson’s Bay label remains affixed to the collar, with a 5” circular “Trail Smoke Eaters ‘61” wool patch with embroidered detailing over the left sleeve. With the buttons intact and just light wear present and no marks or damage, the original belt is also included, with an LOA from the Michel Lagace family to accompany.
