Enjoying a playing career that spanned from approx 1951 to 1965, and included stints with the Montreal Royals, St Paul Saints and Quebec Aces, Michel Lagace was also a member of the Trail Smoke Eaters, with the club winning gold while representing our nation at the 1961 IIHF World Championships. Originating from his personal collection, we offer Lagace’s 1961 World Championships blazer. A Bon Ton label from the Trail, BC company is affixed to the inside right pocket, with “Trail Smoke Eaters” and “1961 World Hockey Championships” embroidered in gold over the outer left breast pocket, with “Canada” and a red maple leaf placed between. Exhibiting light wear with the original buttons attached and no obtrusive damage, an LOA from the Michel Lagace family will accompany.
