Finishing in fourth place on the strength of Dick Duff’s team-leading 53 points, with Johnny Bower securing 15 wins, the Toronto Maple Leafs concluded the 1958-59 NHL season with 65 points, and were defeated in the Stanley Cup final in five games by the powerful dynasty-driven Montreal Canadiens. Hailing from Feb 14, 1959, we have an MLG program for the Leafs contest vs Chicago, team-signed on the cover by 17 members of the Leafs. Picturing a smiling Frank Mahovlich on the cover, the program is complete including the line-ups, with the signatures all executed in misc ballpoint pens, including deceased HOFers Horton (bold and dark, but somewhat bunched-up with other signatures), Olmstead and Allan Stanley, along with Pulford, Mahovlich, Baun, Brewer, Migay, Chadwick, Creighton, Stewart, Reaume, Ehman, Price, Harris and two others. The signatures present nicely with some darker than others, with spine wear and minor creasing to the covers. The Leafs would convincingly defeat the Black Hawks on Feb 14, 1959 by a score of 5-1.
