The 18th year of the National Hockey League, with each club playing 48-games, the 1934-35 NHL season featured nine clubs, with the Montreal Maroons sweeping the Toronto Maple Leafs in the Stanley Cup finals. Battling to a rarely-seen 0-0 overtime tie, we have a Madison Square Garden program issued for the Dec 30, 1934 match between the New York Rangers and Boston Bruins. Featuring Rangers and Americans combatants on the cover along with a 15-cent purchase price, the complete program contains the intact line-up including HOFers Eddie Shore, Tiny Thompson, Babe Siebert and the Cook brothers, there is also a page with images of iconic stars Cyclone Taylor and Lester and Frank Patrick. Just light handling wear is present, with the staples firmly in place and minor toning to the interior.
