The pride of Manhattan, soon to celebrate it’s 100th birthday, the New York Rangers entered the NHL in 1926-27 to compete with Gotham’s cross-town Americans, and earned their first Stanley Cup championship in just the franchise’s second season, while the Americans only advanced to the semifinals once, in 1937-38. This lot offers a group of 10 MSG programs spanning from 1936-37 to and including 1965-66 (both Rangers and Americans programs are present). There is also water staining to the cover and heavier wear to the interior) and Dec 1, 1965 Rangers vs Toronto (2-2 tie, with the program remaining in stunning high grade). The majority of the programs show light wear unless otherwise noted.
