Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022

Some nifty pack pulls involving baseball, football and basketball players are among the interesting eye candy involved here, with KISS cards and inserts also contributing. Signed cards and/or jersey/patch cards include baseballers Jim Palmer, Roger Clemens, Luis Gonzalez, Luis Severino and Ray Durham/Barry Zito/Omar Vizquel, with our consignor also opening some Bowman Chrome products (mostly 2016) featuring up and comers and discovering ten autographed cards along the way. Different colored refractors are among a stack of 200+ shiny cards, although we do not spot any players who have “broken through” thus far to become big stars. The football lineup includes a 2014 Panini National Treasures Jimmy Garoppolo patch card (50/50), with Marcus Mariota (2015 Panini Flawless Team Autographs Blue (12/20)), Samkon Gado and Steve Smith also featured on neat creations. Representing basketball is a 2012-13 Panini Signatures card of Bismack Biyombo, signed and hand-numbered “97/149”. An official ($125) pass to the 2001 Masters Golf Tournament is mighty cool, (Tiger won his second of five Masters), with an inaugural set of Pro Set golf cards a fun complement. If you’d like to rock and roll all night, KISS cards will help you, with a complete 2008 Press Pass 80-card set joined by all sorts of intriguing inserts and parallels, with Rock Star Relics cards featuring Paul Stanley authentic memorabilia (pieces of his vest and jumpsuit!) and numbered out of 25 and a piece of Gene Simmons’ pants on a card numbered “77/99”. There are four different 2009 Kiss (1/1) printing plates, seven Road Stories cards numbered out of 50 and still more killer cards to come upon. Miscellaneous items complete the intriguing lot, including 40+ pocket sports schedules, most of them involving Toronto teams; the Blue Jays, Maple Leafs and Raptors.
