Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022

An intriguing stash of 1954-55 Parkhurst cards is to tell you about here, with some definite fun to be had in building two near complete sets out of the pile. Maurice Richard and Jean Beliveau cards are not present and there are only one each of Howe, Harvey, Geoffrion and Kennedy but at least two each of all the others. As with the graded contributors, there is a range of (low-to-mid-grade) conditions represented, with VG, VG+ and VG-EX examples coming around most often but with some attractive EX-or-better cards also to come upon, as well as some lesser lights and almost-standard varying degrees of toning observed. And get this, with the exception of the last (#100) card (2), there are four of each action card at the end – cool. One Johnny Bower rookie card leads the KSA-slabbed cards at 6 ENM, with another at 2 G, the same as Horton, while a 5 EX Gordie Howe and Terry Sawchuk, at 4 VGE, are also encapsulated. Three #1-McNeil cards are VG-EX, VG and G, with a VG-EX 100-Sawchuk Stops Boom Geoffrion joined by a P example. Multi-creased and P is the raw 33-Sawchuk card, with 36-Delvecchio (EX+, EX) and some of the aforementioned action cards most notable amid the nicer entries. Parkie lovers should love the chance to be the new owner of these - they'll provide enjoyment and options - with the graded cards to arrive in scratch-free KSA holders.
