Beginning with John Young, 1st Baron Lisgar, in 1867, there have been 30 Governors General of Canada since Confederation, with Frederick Stanley, the contributor of the Stanley Cup, the most famous. This lot offers a comprehensive collection of signed items from 15 different Governors General members (most of the items have been affixed to the reverse of a print of the individual, with these appearing to originate from the same series, with each 6 ½” x 81/2” and on thin stock).
