Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
The recipient of four consecutive Lady Byng Memorial Trophies as the NHL’s premier gentlemanly sportsman, Pavel Datsyuk saw action in over 900 NHL regular season contests and 250 KHL matches, with both Gagarin and Stanley Cups won. Originating from the personal collection of NHL superstar and HOFer Ted Lindsay, we have a stick used by the Russian superstar in the mid-to-late-2010s, circa 2015. A CCM Tacks model with “Datsyuk” factory graphics over the upper shaft and handwritten “13”, the stick sports Pavel’s red cloth over the handle with added red electrical tape reinforcing strand, with the blade tape removed to facilitate the flawless silver marker signature added to the frontside blade. Showing good game-use with wear and surface marks to the lower shaft, there is additional wear over the taped section of handle. An LOA from the Lindsay family will accompany.
